Our Goal In God’s mercy and grace, we want to do whatever we could to secure Psalm’s heart to function well so he could have that chance to grow and live with a normal heart condition. It is our eventual goal as well, to make this as a jumpstart effort of the family’s mission to help other children with heart-related diseases.
Our Plea This is in behalf of Baby PSALM XYZIEL, who
was born on October 29 at James Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City. With a high hematocrit level, the pediatrician required his longer stay at
the hospital for two (2) days for treatment.
Two (2) weeks after discharge from the hospital, he underwent a 2D echo
exam which resulted findings of a Congenital Heart Disease, AtrioVentricular
Septal Defect, Malposed Great Arteries, and Pulmonic Stenosis. According to his Pediatric-Cardiologist, baby
Psalm needs to undergo a surgery when he reaches six (6) months old and another
surgery when he turns one (1).
For both operations, we know that finances will be a concern as we are now being asked to prepare at least half-a-million pesos. Baby Psalm’s parents are not financially capable to produce such amount while his grandmother, as the only breadwinner in the family, could only sustain her children’s and Psalm’s needs from her monthly salary. Our family had a brainstorming night to come up with ways and means to pull off and raise the needed fund. Several fund raising activities have been established, praying that proceeds from these activities will help us reach the needed amount just in time for his anticipated surgeries. |
